I'm Kanyinsola and as the name of the blog suggests, I'm a cinema aficionado (kind of a mouthful I know) but it sounds pretty cool so I ran with it.

I have a bit of an unhealthy obsession with film and the filmmaking process as a whole and that obsession has only grown in the last few years. It started when I was pretty young, and stems from my dad's love of movies. He would take my siblings and I to the movies (something we still do now) and if we loved the movie we would buy it on DVD so we could watch it over and over again. Not a summer goes by without one of us buying a new movie to add to our collection be it one we've never watched or one we've seen a million times.

I'm also a published writer, okay it was one short story when I was in secondary school but it counts and I'm rolling with it. So I decided to combine my love of film with my love of writing, and then the blog was born. Here you'll find reviews, my thoughts on the film industry and filmmaking as a whole, opinions pieces and some nonsensical ramblings
